Not at all. FAFFLY is built for non-technical users. You log in, import your employees via a simple CSV file, connect your Shopify store, and hit Sync. The entire setup takes under 30 minutes with no technical knowledge required.
FAFFLY connects directly to Shopify using your store's credentials. It creates and manages customers, discount codes, and segments natively within Shopify — no plugins, no middleware, no manual imports. Everything happens through Shopify's official infrastructure.
Every employee's personal code is cryptographically tied to their company email at the Shopify level. If someone shares the code, it simply won't work for anyone else at checkout. Friends and family are individually registered and verified through FAFFLY before their access activates — so every discount is accountable and traceable back to a real person.
Yes. Managers have direct access to issue gift cards to their team members — single cards, bulk issue, or recurring schedules — without needing admin approval. Admins retain visibility over all issued cards and can void them at any time.
Yes — this is a core feature of FAFFLY. You can connect unlimited Shopify stores, each with its own region, URL, and discount code format. A single Sync All button pushes employee data, tags, segments and codes to every connected store simultaneously.
At minimum, just four columns: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Department. FAFFLY's flexible column parser recognises any sensible variation — "fname", "surname", "work email", "division" all work automatically. Extra columns like Phone, Role, Note and OTC Allocation are supported but entirely optional.
FAFFLY includes a full reporting dashboard covering discount code usage rates, F&F member activity, gift card redemption data, employee engagement and a store-by-store performance breakdown. You can export everything to CSV at any time. Reporting is available on Brand and Enterprise plans.
